MtG: Magic Academy Deck Building – 4/13/25 • 12:00PM

Learn to build a Magic the Gathering deck at Everscape! This FREE beginner event is the perfect way to improve your skills with deck building in a limited sealed format and is a great follow up event if you attended our Magic Academy Learn to Play Event.
Players will be split into two groups, with one instructor each. Each Magic Instructor will then have players watch a tutorial video going over the basics of building a sealed deck. After getting the tutorial basics down, our Magic Academy Instructors will then open up 6 booster packs for their table to follow along with the deck building process. Once decks are built, the instructors will face off against each other in a match so that new players can see their deck building skills in practice!
If players would like to continue with the deck building experience, they are able to purchase six booster packs from any of the sets we have available to build their own deck and will receive a special promo card for doing so. We can then pair you against other players of similar skill levels to test out your new deck, while having our magic instructors available to answer any questions and/or suggest improvements with your deck building!
